Meet the team

Hannah Veja GCF (APF), Managing Director / Bespoke Picture Framer - "Hello, I'm Hannah and I am the proud founder and Managing Director of HMC Framing. I have always been inspired by the artistic world and simply love being able to see intriguing artworks and creations on a daily basis. To be able to get really involved with making something come to life with a mount or a frame gives me great satisfaction and I truly love crafting and creating them to each individual requirement. Being a Guild Certifed Framer (APF) has enabled me to have contact with a vast variety of exciting and challenging projects. I have had various different types of training over the years and have had the pleasure of working on some amazing pieces alongside some very talented people."
Tariq Veja, Customer Relations / Corporate Manager / Bespoke Picture Framer - "Having had a background in a trade very different to bespoke picture framing, it's been amazing for me to be able to utilise my skills within such a creative and fascinating capacity at HMC. I am the Customer Relations and Corporate MD here at HMC Framing but can also be found at Cambridge Market on a weekly basis. I really enjoy working with customers both in our shop and corporate settings to help find the perfect options for each individual specification."
Shane Swann BA (Hons) GCF, Resident Bespoke Picture Framer - "I have over a decade's worth of experience in the picture framing industry, and because of this have had the chance to frame a vast array of different things, far beyond just pictures. I pride myself on the quality and care of the work I produce. Being a Guild Commended Framer of the Fine Art Trade Guild and also a practicing artist myself, I have the professional knowledge and visual intuition to frame precious items correctly and aesthetically. This gives me the ability to help our customers choose the best frame that will not only protect and preserve the item displayed, but also show off its full visual potential."
Kate Scarlett, Supply Coordinator / Bespoke Picture Framer - "I have trained and worked as part of HMC for a couple of years now and absolutely love working in this sector. As an artist by trade I really enjoy seeing such wonderful art enter the shop constantly, I find it so inspirational and always enjoy finding the perfect framing solution for different things! I hope to continue to learn about the various conservation techniques and am working towards becoming Guild Certified in the near future."
Sarah McGonigle, Administrator / Bespoke Picture Framer - "I have been involved with the picture framing business for a number of years, initially training at Jane's Frames in Histon and subsequently with Richard Williams in Sawbridgeworth. As a practicing artist, I especially enjoy the aspects of colour co-ordination and appropriate style choices to complement and enhance clients artworks. I have framed all manner of artwork and memorabilia over the years, including medals, shoes, sugar flowers, tiles and even a tambourine!"
